I bought these to use while I listen to my mp3 player when I am cutting the grass. The headset for my mp3 player didn't block out the sound enough. These fit tightly over my ears and block about 80% of the sound. The only thing I dislike is the way they go around the your head and there's no padding on the wired headband. For the cost you can't beat them. I would buy another set if these break.
