It is wifi-connected and allows you to look inside your ear. It is quite simple to examine your earwax inside your ear, and the quality is far better than I had anticipated. When you connect it, a screen view of what's within your ears will appear. No matter how big your ear canal is, it is not at all painful. It includes a fantastic assortment of supplementary gadgets to aid in further cleaning. The video's color is quite natural, making it simple to see the wax from every perspective. I am positive that it is significantly superior to the older equipment, which caused greater blockage in the ear canal.This is quite an amazing product for the price ($24). The view is very well lighted and focused. Connecting to Wifi and installing the app was easy,However the app has several issues:They try to decide where "up" is and keep the image stable regardless of how you rotate the tool. You can see the tooltip move while the image (ear canal) stays put. It's a novel idea and is actually a MUST - without this feature, you would not be able to rotate the tool at all, as it would seem that the entire picture is rotating. However they orient the picture in a way that is not intuitive to your hand movement. It is "off". This means that your movement in the canal seems to be in a different direction than you expect, making it difficult to move the tip to exactly where you want it and scoop the wax in the motion you desire. I wish they would let you adjust the rotation - that might solve the problem.Another slight problem with this automatic image placing is that the image is not always stable - it sometime jumps a little.The other deficiency is the lack of a zoom capability (zoom as in visual magnification, not as in video conferencing...). They provide a so called "wide angle" and "focus" mode but these are not actually different zoom levels. They simply trim the perimeter from one to the other.I have not evaluate competing products so I don't know if others have the same issues. My guess is that the same product is sold under many different brands.I was having substantial pain in my right ear, the pain was referred into my jaw and neck. My wife told me I need to clean out my ears better, but when she tried I was way too sensitive. I bought this little gadget so I could clean my ear myself, and discovered a large nodule or cyst in my ear canal. The photo was enough to get me an urgent referral to ENT, and now I am doing much better.I found it very easy to use, the images look great, and you can do your own ears!The light and camera works very well. Recording and taking pictures is easy. My only complaint is the head of the part that scrapes whatever you're scraping...the spoon piece is small. While the spoon is small (I can look past that, if it's any bigger, it will cause lots of frustration) and the silicone slip/cover is soft and pliable - to protect the skin, it makes it a bit challenging to scoop out earwax, for example. But overall, if you're patient (as you should be) it does the job because of the other tools that comes with it. The other tools are great and not bulky at all. A tweezer with this set would have been great though.This product is simply amazing for its price! It has a great camera which helps you see clearly into the ear and helps you clean it. If you are looking for one of these I highly recommend you to buy this one!Having the ability to view inside the ear and record what you are doing is amazing, I had no trouble with the app everything worked great. Thank you very muchI purchased one of these from a different brand, and while I liked it, it was flimsy and would bend when I was scooping. So I searched for one that wouldn't bend and this is it! Perfect for what I need. Easy to set up, easy to use. It also came with many accessories that I haven't even used yet. If you are looking for a product like this, you will find this one is top notch!They make this so simple to use. I originally ordered it just to kind of see in my ear bc I had a piece of a qtip stick in there. I ended up not messing with anything and going to my dr for help with removal but the picture quality is amazing and all the tools it comes with will help you get your ears super clean. I highly recommend
